The Isle Evrima
Survive the island. Become the story.
A vanilla Evrima server where the island writes your story. Hunt, migrate, nest, and survive — with proximity voice that makes every encounter feel real.
About
Savage Horizon is a clean, survival-focused Evrima server built around realism, community, and the raw tension of island life.
We keep everything vanilla — no boosted stats, no unfair settings, no shortcuts. The island decides your story. Whether you're hunting solo, migrating with a pack, or scrapping through your first nesting cycle, Savage Horizon gives you the space to play The Isle the way it was designed.
Proximity voice through Mumble transforms every encounter — hear a predator approaching through the trees, coordinate with packmates mid-hunt, or negotiate a tense standoff face to face. Every day our community newsletter lands in Discord, keeping the island's best stories alive.
Features
Everything we do is in service of one goal — making the island feel alive.
Powered by Mumble. Hear players and predators grow louder as they close in — silence is survival, and every sound tells a story.
AI-powered news posted to Discord every day — kills, pack sightings, and island stories written up and delivered fresh.
Full unmodified growth rates. Every stage earned the hard way — from hatchling to apex. No shortcuts, no boosts, no handouts.
A player base built around survival, realism, and fun. Solo players, packs, and everything in between — all welcome.
Admins online daily. Reports handled fast. Zero tolerance for exploits and targeted griefing — the island stays fair.
Seasonal events, herd gatherings, and mod-run hunts keep the island alive beyond daily survival loops.
Proximity Voice
Mumble gives you real proximity voice — hear other dinosaurs get louder as they approach. Takes about five minutes to set up.
Grab the latest Mumble client from the official site using the download card on the right. Install it like any normal Windows application and launch it once to complete setup.
Grab the Savage Horizon .exe file from the card on the right. This pre-loads the correct server address, port, and channel so you don't have to configure anything manually.
In Mumble go to Server → Connect, then click Add Server and load the .exe file. Alternatively, double-click the file with Mumble already installed to auto-import.
When prompted, set your Mumble username to match your in-game dino name exactly so other players can identify you. Then connect to the server.
Keep Mumble running in the background, launch The Isle, and connect to Savage Horizon. Proximity audio activates automatically once you're in-game.
Everything you need to get proximity voice running on Savage Horizon.
